We understand that plans can change. To ensure a smooth experience for all our guests, we've established the following cancellation and refund policy:
SkyNights Program
- 48-Hour Notice: For individual bookings (up to 3 people) or cancellations initiated by the SkyCenter, a full refund or rescheduling is available with at least 48 hours' notice prior to the scheduled program.
- 7-Day Notice: For group bookings (4 or more people), a full refund or rescheduling is available with at least 7 business days' notice prior to the scheduled program.
- "Chance of Clear" Nights: If weather conditions are uncertain, we may offer a "chance of clear" program on Mount Lemmon with alternative activities and the possibility of stargazing if the skies clear.
- Guests who choose not to attend the "chance of clear" program may reschedule or receive a 50% refund.
- Weather Cancellations & RemoteSky Alternative: In the event of severe weather, we will cancel the SkyNights program and offer a RemoteSky program in Tucson as an alternative at the same scheduled time. You'll receive a $55 refund per ticket to reflect the price difference between the programs.
- Guests who choose not to attend the RemoteSky program may still reschedule their SkyNights experience but will not be eligible for a refund.
- No-Shows & Late Cancellations: Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or rescheduling for no-shows or cancellations made less than the specified notice periods.
Astronomer Nights & Other Special Programs
- 30-Day Notice: A full refund is available for cancellations made at least 30 days before the scheduled program.
- Less than 30 Days: Cancellations made less than 30 days before the program are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
- Weather Cancellations: If the SkyCenter cancels a program due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule your visit.
- No-Shows: No refunds are given for no-shows.
RemoteSky
- 24-Hour Notice: A full refund or rescheduling is available with at least 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled program.
- No-Shows & Late Cancellations: Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or rescheduling for no-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the program start time.
Daytime Tours
- Group Tours (20+): For group tours, a full refund or rescheduling is available with at least 7 business days' notice prior to the scheduled tour.
- Individual Tickets: For individual daytime tour tickets, a full refund or rescheduling is available with at least 48 hours' notice prior to the scheduled tour.
- No-Shows & Late Cancellations: Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or rescheduling for no-shows or cancellations made less than the specified notice periods.
Special Circumstances & Emergencies
We understand that unforeseen situations may arise. Please contact us if you have a special circumstance or emergency that prevents you from attending your scheduled program. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and work with you to find a suitable solution.
