Virtual Private Star Party

Bringing you the Universe in the comfort of your home

As a stay-at-home alternative to our popular SkyNights program, we are now offering Virtual Private Star Parties!

Available by advance reservation, this 90-minute interactive program is built on the success of our in-person SkyNights programs and features live views through our 32” Schulman Telescope – along with engaging and educational conversation with our astronomy outreach professionals.

Using our specialized astronomical CCD camera, we will live-stream images to your screen that are similar to what you would see in the eyepiece.  In addition, we will share with you high-resolution, long exposure color images of objects that have been created through the Schulman telescope.  What makes this experience exceptional, beyond the views of star clusters, nebula, and galaxies invisible to the unaided eye, is that you will have a private Zoom link through which you will have direct interaction with our incredible observatory staff.

As we are streaming this only to you, you can share* the link with family and friends who can join in from anywhere on Earth! It is truly a private experience where you can converse casually with our staff, ask questions, or even ask us to point the telescope at objects of your choosing.

View available dates here. This 90-minute program is scheduled to start at 7:30 pm MST (Mountain Standard Time), and with advanced coordination, we are flexible on the start times.

Pricing: $350 for non-holiday dates. $500 for holiday dates.
